Senior Data Analyst

Job TitleGeneral Requirements:- Know Retail/eCommerce and ideally understand and have worked in a “Marketplace” business (selling 3rd Party products)- Are ‘athletes’ that can play many sports/positions rather than ‘players’ that are specialists in only one sport/position- Prefer working in a fast paced environment on many projects simultaneously (width) rather than 1-2 projects over an extended period of time (breadth)- Know how to apply Analytics to drive business results and can act like a Consultant to Business StakeholdersSpecific Hard Skills:- Highly proficient in SQL and able to be hands-on and write complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets. SQL Proficiency of 4 or 5 out of 5- Ability to use multiple disparate data sets that may not be well documented and may not always have clean data- Experience in eCommerce and at the very least experience in a ‘digital native’ business- Preference for working juggling several projects at the same time often with tight timelines but extremely high visibility versus working on 1-2 projects in extensive depth over an extended period of time- Ideally, experience with ‘two-sided’ businesses (Buyer & Seller) like a Marketplace (eBay), Rideshare (Uber), other ‘sharing’ type business models (AirBnB, Task Rabbit, etc.) but we recognize that this is rareSoft Skills:• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to use data to solve problems and drive business decisions• Experience with data visualization tools to easily communicate findings• Curious and resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity• Enjoys working both autonomously and in teamsRequired Skills: THIS IS A HIGH LEVEL SENIOR ROLE- PLEASE SEND YOUR BEST RESOURCES MUST HAVES:- Hands on and have to write SQL code; need to be super comfortable getting their hands dirty and writing the code- Visualization and dashboarding: Either Tableau or Looker- Two Sided experience: buyer/seller, driver/rider- NEED TO HAVE ENTERPRISE BACKGROUND - 5+ years of experienceBasic Qualification: Additional Skills: Remote Fortunate 500 company Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: THIS IS HIGH LEVEL SENIOR ROLE.
