Accounting Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing company in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys owning the full accounting function, guiding a team, improving processes, and partnering closely with senior leadership. The Accounting Manager will manage day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, audits, tax compliance, budgeting, and credit and collections oversight. This is a high‑visibility role reporting to executive leadership and offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial processes, operational efficiency, and business decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of financial statements and management reporting. Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, banking, collections, credit metrics, and fiscal records. Coordinate financial audits, prepare audit documentation, support external auditors, and implement recommended accounting practices. Manage tax compliance activities, including sales and use tax, property tax, payroll tax, and related compliance reporting. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, and senior leadership on budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, and reporting. Manage, train, develop, and support accounting team members while driving process improvements and accounting system efficiency. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $95,000 to $105,000 per year.
