Director OF Strategic Accounts

Director of Strategic Accounts and Business Development has dual responsibility for developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with national and regional stakeholders while driving new business development initiatives. This role combines account management of existing key clients with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to achieve Telligen growth objectives. The position requires working collaboratively across the organization to ensure both client satisfaction and new business targets are met. Essential Functions Business Development and Sales - Develops and executes sales strategies to achieve growth targets Generates leads and maintains sales pipeline in SalesForce Prepares and leads client presentations Leads proposal development process and contract negotiations Establishes pricing strategies aligned with market conditions Identifies and develops opportunities for account expansion Recommends new product/service offerings based on market needs Participates in strategic planning initiatives Collaborates on continuous improvement efforts Strategic Account Management - Develops and maintains favorable relationships with large, key accounts through regular face-to-face and virtual contact Serves as main conduit between Telligen and clients for contract deliverables, expansions, and renewals Monitors financials and profitability of accounts Ensures service delivery meets client expectations and contract requirements Manages client reporting and performance metrics Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence - Monitors industry trends and provides market intelligence to leadership Conducts ongoing market analysis to identify new opportunities Makes recommendations for service expansion and improvements Develops sales projections aligned with corporate business plans Maintains presence in relevant industry associations and coalitions Operations and Implementation - Coordinates with operations to ensure consistent service delivery Leads implementation teams for new business Manages solution development and problem resolution Provides client education and training as needed Other Duties - Represents the Company at meetings with clients, partners, stakeholders, community and business leaders Makes presentations ensuring a professional and knowledgeable image is projected Researches potential business opportunities and provides subject matter expertise in proposal development Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, marketing or related field 8+ years of experience in healthcare or related industry Proven track record of 5-7 years managing large, complex customer relationships Demonstrated success in health management solution sales Strong understanding of healthcare marketplace and client needs Excellence in relationship building and strategic account management Superior presentation and negotiation skills Ability to lead and manage direct reports Preferred Qualifications Travel up to 40% including local and overnight Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing flexibility and diplomacy Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly SalesForce Who We Are: Telligen is one of the most respected population health management organizations in the country.
