Bookkeeper

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth accounting processes. The ideal candidate will record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Record routine journal entries and bank transactions. Enter accounts payable bills and credit card transactions. Conduct month‑end closing and reconciliation activities. Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information. Perform bank reconciliations. Provide support to department colleagues as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. General bookkeeping, AR or AP experience welcomed. Regular and reliable attendance required. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels. Ability to plan, organize and manage projects. Detail‑oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize and work independently. Prior knowledge and experience of QuickBooks. Self‑motivated and directed. Responsibilities include prolonged computer use, making phone calls with headset, and occasional office movement. Tasks may involve reaching in any direction and lifting up to forty pounds. Background & Security Requirements Potential offer contingent on a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprinting. Willingness to submit to drug screening is required.
