Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• At least 60 college credits OR a valid Paraprofessional certification (certification can be completed during assignment)
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Ability to collaborate with educators and support students in individual or small-group settings
• Previous experience working with youth or in an educational setting is a bonus
• Adaptability, patience, and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to teachers and students throughout the school day (8:00am to 3:30pm)
• Assist students with classwork, organization, and staying on track with assignments
• Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Supervise students during non-academic times such as lunch or transitions
• Support the instructional needs of students with varying abilities, adapting materials as needed
• Participate in staff meetings or training sessions as required
