We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused CFO to join our executive team. This high-impact leadership role gives you full ownership of the finance function, from month-end close to long-range financial planning. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key advisor to the President, executive team and Board of Directors. What You’ll Do Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, modeling, and performance management Own cash management, liquidity planning, and short- and long-range forecasting Manage banking compliance, commercial banking relationships, and lending relationships Oversee third-party billing management and on-statement billing workflows Oversee residual payment processing and reconciliation Coordinate with external auditors to prepare and deliver audited financial statements Partner with tax advisors to develop and execute proactive tax strategies Lead the evaluation, selection, and annual renewal of company insurance programs Manage the ADP PEO relationship, including plan renewals, cost analysis, and benefits benchmarking Provide strategic financial counsel to the CEO, President, executive team, and Board of Directors Partner with the head of HR on compensation planning, benefits strategy, and workforce cost management Review and approve bi-weekly payroll in partnership with the senior accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team Qualifications 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience Experience in payments, fintech, or merchant services is strongly preferred; familiarity with interchange, residuals, and payment processing economics is a significant plus Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required CPA, CFA, or CMA strongly preferred Prior experience as VP of Finance, Director of Finance, Controller, or CFO required Proven experience in payments, fintech, or high-growth B2B environments preferred Track record of leading finance teams and cross-functional collaboration Deep knowledge of corporate finance: budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning Strong proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks) Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools a plus Experience with cloud software such as Salesforce, Ramp, and ClickUp Hands-on experience with SOC 1 internal controls and financial audit framework Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives, board members, and banking partners Who You Are High integrity and ethical standards Great communicator and team player Strategic thinker who can align finance with company goals Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail Problem-solver who moves quickly and decisively Resilient, calm under pressure, and decisive Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the work is meaningful and the stakes are real Competitive salary based on experience Strong opportunity for growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
