Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist-CCC (SLP-CCC) license valid for Rhode Island
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to culturally sensitive and evidence-based intervention
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to school-aged students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
• Offer training and resources that promote effective communication within the classroom
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights to student support plans
