Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Preparedness in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:45 PM - 07:15 AMTue10:45 PM - 07:15 AMFri10:45 PM - 07:15 AMSat10:45 PM - 07:15 AMSun10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit operations. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
