Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Bag Check in Gardner, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas using established procedures, reporting prohibited, suspicious, or unauthorized activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Monitor access points, credential presentation, visitor documentation, and delivery activity to help maintain orderly entry processes at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, business spaces, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and completing required reports. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
