About the Job

Russell Tobin is seeking highly motivated Logistic Specialists to support the end-to-end execution of freight movements across transportation network. This team is responsible for ensuring the on-time pickup and delivery of freight while proactively resolving transportation disruptions and communicating with key stakeholders throughout the supply chain.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and possess strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Full-Time Contract Opportunity

20.00$---21.00$

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and drivers experiencing transportation disruptions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by researching issues, resolving challenges, and setting appropriate expectations.
• Monitor freight movements and ensure timely pickup and delivery performance.
• Utilize internal systems to gather, analyze, and report transportation data.
• Create repair requests and coordinate issue resolution with internal and external partners.
• Support drivers and carriers with over-the-road disruptions and operational challenges.
• Communicate effectively with transportation management, rail partners, fulfillment centers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify trends, delays, and exceptions impacting network performance.
• Escalate critical issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or supply chain environment.
• Experience supporting carriers, drivers, or transportation operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service levels.
