Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct essential and advanced clinical laboratory analyses—spanning areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology—while rigorously following established protocols.
• Ensure precision by analyzing test results for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining and calibrating lab equipment.
• Support with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for insightful testing.
• Keep comprehensive records of procedures, mentor new staff and students, and contribute to maintaining high lab standards of quality.
• Uphold safety protocols in the lab to create a clean and compliant work environment aligned with industry regulations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, complemented by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of hire.
• Active certification must be maintained throughout your tenure.
