Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Critical Care

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Length: 8 weeks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire
• Critical Care Course completion within 1 year of hire for Critical Care Units
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia
• Neonatal Resuscitation required within 6 months of hire for specific departments
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire for PACU/SDS and Emergency Departments
• Other certifications may apply based on assigned unit

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population across various ages.
• Assess patient health problems and develop nursing care plans based on the nursing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health care needs and discharge planning.
• Delegate patient care tasks to other nursing staff in accordance with their competencies and scope of practice.
• Document and maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with health care regulations.
