Facility Operations Coordinator - SCE Building Services & Operations

Responsibilities Assists with personnel functions such as training, supervising, and evaluating building managers. Coordinating with Associate Director on department trainings and professional development workshops for full‑time staff and student staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and one‑on‑ones with building management team, including counseling staff in areas of required improvement. Assess reports on the daily operations of the Student Centers and Student Services Building. Coordinating and/or participating in department programs such as retreats or kick‑offs. Meet with Venues and Events to ensure appropriate staff is available for approved events. Assist with developing, establishing and implementing policies, goals, objectives, or procedures related to the operation of Student Centers. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below: A. College coursework in facility management, operations management, or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent: 60 semester hours or an Associate’s Degree equals one (1) year (12 months) B. Training from a vocational, technical, or an armed forces program that includes building operations such as coordination of building maintenance, construction management, hospitality, or closely related experience. C. Work experience that includes building operations such as coordination of building maintenance and work orders, construction management, hospitality, or closely related experience. One (1) year (12 months) of supervisory or administrative experience that includes building operations such as coordination of building maintenance and work orders, construction management, hospitality, or closely related experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
