Facility Coordinator

Facility Coordinator – JLL Job Description As a Facility Coordinator at JLL, you will serve as a vital operational partner to our Facility Management team, ensuring day-to-day operations keep our clients’ workplaces running smoothly. This entry-level role combines administrative expertise with hands‑on facility support, requiring continuous monitoring of operations, coordination with property managers, and acting as the main point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Provide continuous monitoring of office and facility operations and act as primary interface with clients, visitors, and guests. Assist the Facility Management Team with tactical planning, project‑management initiatives, and execution of team goals. Manage procurement processes: property supplies and services, purchase orders, bid requests, and service & construction contracts. Coordinate maintenance activities and schedules, directing vendors, facilities staff, and service providers. Support special events, meetings, and conference‑room reservations aligned with client needs. Administer vendor security badges and access, ensuring compliance with protocols. Assist with budgetary requests, analysis, and reporting, researching and documenting variances. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Handle small facility‑management tasks, including office moves and additional assignments as directed. Required Qualifications Minimum 2‑4 years of experience in Facility or Property Administration. Superior customer service skills with a client‑oriented approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills. Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and independent work skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in facilities management, building management, business, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business, or related field. Experience in corporate or commercial real‑estate environments. Familiarity with facility‑management software systems and building‑automation platforms. Comfort working onsite and interfacing day‑to‑day with clients. Proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Location & Schedule On‑site – Downtown Chicago, IL and Lisle, IL Work shift: Monday – Friday Compensation $50,300 – $65,000 USD per year. This range is an estimate; final compensation is determined by qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations. Benefits 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
