Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry/step-down experience, EKG, cardiac drips Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. The position requires experience in tele/step-down nursing. The clinician will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory for this role. Telemetry and step-down experience are essential. Candidates must have skills in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Experience in managing cardiac drips and interpreting dysrhythmias is required. Candidates should be prepared to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Travelers must comply with the organization’s policies regarding time off requests. Must be able to provide appropriate patient care and manage various cardiac conditions. This role involves assisting in special procedures and utilizing specific equipment related to cardiac care. The unit features interdisciplinary support and manages a range of patient diagnoses. Candidates will be expected to complete required compliance modules before starting.
