Summary:

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Field Maintenance Technician II – Refrigeration to join our innovative Facilities Services team in our Store Support Center in Nashville, TN . The Field Maintenance Tech II is responsible for performing required maintenance at company stores and facilities in a professional and timely manner. Performs repairs and maintains one or more of the following specialties: HVAC/R, General Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, and/or Beverage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains and repairs all refrigeration equipment.
• Visually inspects and tests machines, systems, and equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and repair equipment.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts and motors and adjusts as needed.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
• Replaces and/or repairs machine belts.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment, including painting, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
• Performs all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations.
• Follows safe work habits and cleans up area after completing maintenance and/or repairs.
• Issues reports and summaries, as required.
• Maintains confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information.
• Reacts productively to change.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance operations, including Beverage Machine systems and equipment
• Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with C-Store and/or retail facilities.
• EPA Certification Type 1 or Type 2 required; Universal Certification.
