Analyst 3, Requirements Analysis

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop detailed product and feature scope documents to guide product specifications and architecture
• Ensure product objectives and priorities are well-defined for the product owner and development team
• Work with the product manager to prepare and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with the product vision and business goals
• Keep clients and collaborators informed on product status
• Lead product release plans and set expectations for new functionalities
• Mitigate impediments and ensure governance for change management
• Lead adjustments to plans and manage dependencies to achieve Sprint/Release goals
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and quick course correction
• Participate in executing technical and cross-functional project work
• Understand customer needs through literature review, customer interviews, direct observation, and competitive analysis
• Translate customer insights into engineering requirements, product briefs, and process specifications

Experience Required

• 3-5 years of experience in Requirement Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, or related roles
• 3-5 years of experience working with PaaS or SaaS products
• Experience working in an agile software development environment
• Involvement in product roadmap development

Skills & Certifications

• Strong understanding of cloud computing, APIs, and developer tools
• Proficiency with work management software such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Aha!
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team settings
• Creative thinking with a focus on product improvement
• Understanding of product feature prioritization

Eligibilities & qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, backlog management, and product lifecycle management
