Check out our website at JOB SUMMARY: This job entails the manufacturing of portable court panels and subfloor systems. This includes building subfloor panels, nailing panels, and cutting floor panels to size, among other responsibilities. This is a local position and the work is performed onsite at Praters, Inc., Rossville, GA location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to work without constant or direct supervision. Lifting, bending, and carrying equipment and materials such as bundles of wood and other heavy objects with weights sometimes exceeding 100 lbs. Have the experience or the ability to learn to operate and perform minor job site maintenance on construction equipment or tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, etc. Follow the correct procedures for a quality job, perform it safely, and maintain job site cleanliness as specified in the employee manual or by Management. The ability to read a tape measure, make the proper calculations for woodcuts, etc. Ability to deliver panels and manufactured portable courts between Praters, Inc. locations Willing to work overtime and some weekends. Will at all times conduct themselves as a representative of Praters, Inc. and support Praters, Inc.'s missions and goals. Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS NEEDED: Ability to read a tape measure/ruler competently Prior Manufacturing/production experience Basic carpentry or construction experience Ability to stand and bend for long periods and the ability to lift 100+ pounds periodically (team lifting) Able to effectively and efficiently organize, and work well on a team but also have the independence to work individually Have a good work ethicand be able to produce high-quality work Valid driver's license - Required (to operate company vehicles) Must be 21 years old or older (age requirement to operate company vehicles) Must be able to pass a 7-panel drug screen A 7-year background check performed BENEFITS OFFERED: Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Retirement, and Multiple Opportunities to Advance
