Line Cook

This is a full-time food service position based in Seattle, WA. You'll work consistent shifts that vary during business hours. All that you need is: Comfortable listening to and accommodating guests Ability to multitask, stay organized, and always focus on the guest Ability to follow recipes and procedures to maintain food quality and consistency Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures and all Starbird Chicken standards Experience in a similar role is preferred. Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to bend and reach overhead often Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold Must be comfortable working near open flames May be required to work in tight spaces Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required Must be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner HOW DO WE CARE FOR OUR TEAM? We offer competitive pay between $21.30 and $24 per hour , a bonus structure, free meals, and the ability to earn tips as an hourly staff member . WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR LINE COOK? As a Line Cook, you will spend your days preparing delicious food and keeping the kitchen spotless. You'll prepare delicious sandwiches and salads while also assisting with prep and overall kitchen operations. You will restock cook stations and keep them clean and organized, put away deliveries, and assist with any additional duties assigned.
