About the Position

The unit focuses on patients with vascular disease diagnoses. Patient demographics range from young adulthood to geriatrics. The unit consists of private and semi-private rooms, accommodating up to 16 patients. Telemetry capabilities are available for monitoring patients. Daily patient ratios will be six per nurse. Nurses will be responsible for a variety of clinical skills, including blood product administration and management of IV lines. Knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and management is required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is essential. Responsibilities may include care for patients requiring feeding tube management and wound care. Telemetry overflow admission will occur as needed. This position requires travel experience and the ability to handle complex patient needs. All relevant certifications and state licensure must be current at the time of application.
