Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment, working with sheet metal fabrication processes, and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks including cutting, forming, bending, and assembly.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet customer requirements and production deadlines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Fiber Laser operating experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of Sheet Metal Fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC-controlled laser equipment.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality inspection procedures.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
