Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid 282 Certification is required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a school setting
• Strong understanding of case management for IEP (Individualized Education Program) and ISP (Individualized Support Plan) processes
• Ability to perform academic evaluations and classroom observations
• Skilled in monitoring and documenting the delivery of specially designed instruction (SDI)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Technology proficiency to support remote case management responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Manage a caseload of students (13 with IEPs and 6 with ISPs) in grades 5-8
• Conduct comprehensive academic evaluations, both remotely and in-person as needed
• Oversee and coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and ISPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure effective delivery of SDI
• Document student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on individual needs
• Complete necessary compliance paperwork and maintain organized records in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP team meetings and support smooth communication among all stakeholders
