Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction and/or wayfinding, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site expectations. Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical emergencies, alarms, and/or other critical events by following post orders and documenting observed activity in a clear, timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
