Dispatcher/Scheduler (Transportation experience preferred) Permanent contract Full-time 17$ gross/hour Less than 2 years of experience (Entry level) High school diploma, A levels, GED, GCSE Operations Control Center Agent Mission Our dispatchers arecritical to the operations of our business. They are the lifeline between theclient and our bus operators. Your ability to assess and respond with animmediate solution helps to maintain on time service and delivery. Profile Must Have dispatcher experience to apply. Requirements for a Dispatcher/Scheduler Minimum of two (2) years of general work experience, includingdriving experience and customer service experience. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have been a licensed driver for at least two (2) years. Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines Problem-solving and analytical abilities A Valid Drivers License No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession Responsibilities of aDispatcher/Scheduler Collaborates with routing specialists and schedulers to optimizeroutes Dispatch drivers using information provided by the clientsthrough the reservation department and the online reservation application Review and respond to all incoming calls, confirming all detailswith the client review reservation two weeks out Discuss with the client availability to review onlinereservations Field incoming calls for the exact day requests, ensure availability, and examine possible route changes Initiate all outbound calls to the city connect and access Troubleshoot and resolve potential pick-up problems before theyresult in service issues Ensure service on missed pick-ups by coordinating drivermovement in the field Assist in determining the daily level of driver staffing to provide the best mix of responsiveness and productivity Other duties assigned by the operation staff Education Requirement High school diploma or GED Benefits of a Dispatcher/Scheduler Vacation Sick time Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Wellness Program Retirement savings plan (401 K) Pay Rate: $ 17.75/HR 8 hours shift, must be available Saturday Strong Dispatch experience preferred This is not a remote position We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and Welcome Diversity to our Teams.
