POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary .

1. Order Picking ( 2 0%) :

• Review daily orders and organize process for picking .

• Delegate orders to team members .

• Inspect all pallets that are leaving the Warehouse .

• If order is not correct, inform collector and have them fix .

• Reinspect prior to the order leaving the warehouse .

1. Housekeeping ( 5 %):

• Ensure aisles & rack locations are clean of debris and empty pallets .

• Perform final warehouse inspection to ensure housekeeping has been completed properly, including dock areas, staging, and return areas, and address any issues .

1. Forklift Inspections ( 5 %):

• Pre-shift and post-shift inspection of forklift to ensure properly maintained and any necessary repairs are escalated .

• Report necessary maintenance/repairs to Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager .

4 . Mentorship & Training ( 25 %) :

• Conduct new employee training to help them to properly pick orders .

• Act as a resource if they are having trouble locating an item .

• Ensure new associates are following safety and housekeeping protocols guide as necessary .

• Provide ongoing support, training and act as escalation point .

• Monitor monthly safety trainings are completed .

• Assist Warehouse Manager with any necessary performance coaching plans and provide support for employee development initiatives .

5 . Order Loading/Un-Loading ( 10 %):

• Assist with loading of completed orders onto trucks, delivery carriers and/or customer pickups .

• Assist with order unloading of LTL Carriers and truck loads .

• Perform receiving duties for orders being delivered - ensure items orders are actually received , inform purchaser of any discrepancies .

• Stock items located in the warehouse or deliver to purchasing party .

• Correct any Purchase Order discrepancies .

• Document discrepancies and maintain shipping documentation .

• Assist Procurement & Accounts Payable regarding Purchase Orders/Invoices issues and corrections .

• Work with Customer Service and QC team to process RMA's and carrier returns .

1. Put Aways (5%):

• Review daily Put-Aways assign to team members and ensure accurate completion.

6 . Inventory Audit ( 10 %):

• Assist in annual inventory audit .

• Perform product counts and log .

• Assist with investigating inventory discrepancie s .

7 . Warehouse Managemen t ( 20 %):

• Monitor daily warehouse operations and provide regular updates regarding products, inventory, shipping and employees performance to Warehouse leaders .

• Assist Warehouse/Plant Manager with warehouse/employee projects and initiatives.

• Conduct pre-shift meeting with the team to communicate daily focus, initiatives and announcements . Coordinate with other department leads on upcoming and ongoing projects .

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to utilize math to perform basic inventory counts .

• Able to read and interpret directions and order details .

• Able to communicate both in writing and verbally .

• Able to operate forklift safely .

• Able to operate RFGen Gun .

• 5 + Years Warehouse Experience .

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications .

• Experience utilizing ERP system (preferably JD Edwards) .

• Proven ability to learn new computer skills and programs .

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent .

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment physical .

• L ift: Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds .

• Push/Pull : Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds .

• Stand : Must be able to stand 80% of the day.

• Sitting : Must be able to sit 20% of the day.

• Twisting/Bending : Must be able to twist/bend 50% of the day .

• Squatting, Climbing and/or Crawling : Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 20% of the day .
