Phlebotomist II – Orangeburg, SC Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pay range: $19.93+ per hour (salary offers based on experience, education, certifications, and other factors). Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures: drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc. Administer oral solutions as trained. Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Navigate computers and enter data accurately. Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required. Perform non‑patient duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email. Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with the compilation and submission of statistics and data as required. Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, including maintenance and temperature logs. Complete online and in‑person training courses timely. Qualifications Three years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry experience. Flexible availability for staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable). High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Effective communication in English.
