Provide pharmaceutical care in a retail environment, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications and exceptional patient service. This contract opportunity, lasting 6-8 weeks, is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications according to legal and regulatory requirements
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer their questions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
- Maintain proper documentation and pharmacy records
- Manage inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Florida pharmacist license
- Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
