Job Description

Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of purchased applications or application frameworks. Participates in the design configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of application systems and/or user group profiles. Validates system functionality after changes. Participates in testing and installing new software releases and application system upgrades. Analyzes, monitors, and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels. Works with internal infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve issues with hardware and software. Maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity. Participates with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in an IT-related area and several years of professional IT experience, or some combination related field, or equivalent work experience
• Six or more years of experience in application development

Preferred Skills

• Second level support for production interchange connectivity.
• Position requires nights and weekend support.
• Support and maintains Base24 system, internal and external network connectivity
• Partner with internal Fleet services for POS connectivity and authorization
• Provide support for internal and external network Base24 connectivity requests including project coordination and implementation.
• Perform a range of tasks related to ATM/POS issuing and acquiring, including implementation, support documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define, update, maintain, receive approval, and implement changes across the various environments.
• Experience with ATM/POS issuing and acquiring
• Working knowledge of Base24 files, Tandem tacl commands, network configuration, ISO 8583 online message format, and EFT Transaction flow
• Familiar with IT standards, procedures, policy
• Experience supporting interchange connectivity and application (database) Base24
• Experience with external interchange support tools (VROL, MC)
• Working knowledge of Excel, MS Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Service Now, OutsideView (6530) session emulator and Agile
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, troubleshooting abilities and able to work with other support groups with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to coordinate with numerous in-house and external groups. Often acting as the facilitator or project lead including gathering requirements and defining issues.
• Working knowledge of IT service, change and problem management
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems management
• Extensive knowledge of system software infrastructure, distribution and installation/support
• Working knowledge of application delivery including release management
• Working knowledge of computer operations
• Working knowledge of hardware infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
