Patients Per Day: Average daily census 9-11 infants
% of IP & OP Volume: Average NICU admissions are 20 per month. Outpatient is one day a week up to 7 patients
Physicians in Practice: One full-time Neonatologist, 5 mid-levels that are in-house 24/7 to support this role and patient care.
Call: When on-call the Neonatologist is on-call 24/7 for this time.

Minimum Board Certification: Certified
This is an inpatient role for the NICU and when the provider is working, they are responsible for NICU rounds and on-call during this time. There is an outpatient clinic every Thursday located at the hospital and runs concurrently with NICU. Neonatologist participates in the clinic. Expectation is 8AM-4PM in-house. On call response time is 20 minutes.
