Physical Therapist

As a Physical Therapist, you'll contribute to Elara Caring's success by providing direct patient care, evaluating functional needs and outcomes, and consulting with other specialists. Responsibilities include designing and implementing care plans, directing support staff, documenting evaluations and treatment goals, and promoting physical therapy within the community.

• Provides direct patient care and evaluates functional needs.
• Designs and implements individualized plans of care.
• Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
• Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans; maintains prescriptions and signatures.
• Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a community resource.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Reliable vehicle with valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel within branch coverage area (up to 50%).
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
