Lead Business Analyst - DMV Area local - Remote

Nexiva Inc

Title: Lead Business Analyst

Location: 100% Remote; candidates should be local to the DC/DMV area and available onsite 1 2 times per month

Duration: 6+ months, likely extension/conversion

Interview: 1 2 video rounds + F2F onsite if local

Experience: 8+ years as a Lead Business Analyst

Job Description:

What they need:

Strong Business Analysis experience in an Agile environment.
Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams .
Gather requirements and create use cases and detailed user stories .
Manage and track up to 10 technical user stories at the same time.
Understand technical concepts such as AWS, Java, and software testing .
Strong Jira experience for backlog grooming, story tracking, and sprint planning.

Nice to Have:

Healthcare Insurance experience, big plus.
Experience with product roadmaps.

Main Must-Haves: 8+ years Lead BA + strong technical background + Jira + DMV/local availability.
