Account Manager - Industrial Automation - Northeast Region

Overview Account Manager (Industrial Automation) - Northeast Region. Efficient Engineering is when a PLAN becomes EPLAN. EPLAN Software & Services LLC provides software and service solutions in the fields of electrical, automation and mechatronic engineering. The company develops one of the world’s leading design software solutions for machine and panel builders. We continually evolve the business with help from our Marketing, Sales and Professional Services Teams as we grow our presence in the North American Markets. As the Account Manager , you will be selling EPLAN Software & Services. You will need to balance the management of existing customers while building a pipeline of new business. You will work closely with our national consulting engineering team to provide detail specific solutions for our customers. We need someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, providing solutions and closing business. Our success comes from selling with a customer first mentality and solution driven methodology. Responsibilities You identify new EPLAN prospects and industries and are willing to cover all components of the sales process. What that entails are; prospecting, cold calling, negotiating complex requirements and maintaining high customer satisfaction (NPS). You develop sales plans and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements and help provide industry specific solutions with our engineers You participate in global initiatives to introduce products in new markets, including educating the customer on resources available and elevating our brand You present at local sales marketing events while actively upselling and highlighting solutions to new, current and old customers You will be resourceful, customer and service-oriented, creative and driven to produce measurable results within your region. You should have a high sense of urgency, strong business ethics and be innovative, self-motivating and self-aware. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Business Administration/Marketing along with relevant experience Located in the Northeast Region of the United States Authorized to work without sponsorship for any employer We are looking for 5 years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS platforms You have strong knowledge of CAE/CAD marketplace and engineering applications We preferred candidates with experience in the industrial automation industry You have strong interpersonal skills and are going to show your proven ability to develop and build strong relationships with c-level and senior management of clients We need someone who is highly proficient in their computer skills including internet, CRM, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and has a complete understanding of consultative and solution selling strategies This is an outside sales position that will be expected to spend the majority of their time traveling around the Northeast region.
