Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in executing individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring the application of appropriate therapy techniques.
• Perform routine treatment procedures such as therapeutic exercises, modality applications, and manual therapy techniques under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment, updating charts and reporting findings to the supervising therapist to facilitate care adjustments as needed.
• Educate and counsel patients on exercises and rehabilitation strategies to encourage engagement in their recovery process.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring that all equipment is safe and sanitary for patient use.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on case management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients who are facing orthopedic challenges and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant license in Virginia; candidates must be eligible to practice.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in an orthopedic or acute care environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to USD 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
