Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Night Shift: 3 x 12s, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations.
• Competent in routine nursing skills including medication administration, intravenous therapy, and safe use of medical equipment.
• Address age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of patients, including those with disabilities.
• Initiate and collaborate on multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care, employing appropriate teaching methods.
• Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel based on individual competency and scope of practice.
