Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced support engineering data specialist. This role supports the development, certification, and verification of technical publications for a new development program. The specialist will interpret and analyze various data sources to create and maintain aircraft maintenance instructions and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, and supply chain data to develop aircraft maintenance instructions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.
• Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks.
• Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop logistics support analysis records.
• Review logistics support analysis reports and revise initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA).
• Track and status task completion using internal workflow management tools.
• Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks.
• Influence maintenance approach and product designs to ensure supportability and maintainability.
• Validate the quality and accuracy of completed maintenance manual procedures on the aircraft.
• Coordinate with aircraft manufacturing teams to schedule the validation of maintenance tasks.
• Interface with customer representatives to verify maintenance procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
• 5+ years of experience with interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and/or technical publications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with airplane maintenance manuals in a line maintenance environment.
