Accounting Manager

Reports to: Senior Manager of Accounting Will manage: 2 Accountants (1 Senior Accountant & 1 Accounting Supervisor) Location: Palm Beach County (Hybrid work schedule) Requirements: CPA license Required 6+ years of experience in Public Accounting or a mix of public accounting (Assurance) and Corporate Accounting Job Duties: Own the monthly consolidation and financial close process across a large, multi-entity organization, partnering directly with operating company leadership to keep reporting accurate and on schedule Serve as the technical accounting resource for the group, researching complex GAAP questions and documenting the conclusions that guide how the company reports Lead annual goodwill impairment testing, translating market and business conditions into defensible analysis Drive the accounting for business combinations, including purchase price allocations and intangible asset valuation, giving you direct fingerprints on how acquisitions get recorded Identify and execute process improvement initiatives, with real latitude to change how things are done rather than just following existing procedure Support system implementations and internal control initiatives as the finance organization continues to scale Provide ad hoc support on acquisition due diligence, putting you in the room for deal activity most accountants only hear about after the fact #J-18808-Ljbffr StevenDouglas
