Fund Finance Associate

A chambers ranked team within a V5 platform has built one of the most active funds practices in the country. Over the past 5 years, this practice has grown exponentially, driven by elite liquidity partners and an institutional commitment to the secondaries market. Because of this sustained growth, they are looking to make a key hire at the associate level. They advise many of the world's leading private equity firms and asset managers, resulting in a substantial volume of work at the top end of the market. Alongside liquidity transactions, the team also advises on ongoing fund matters, providing associates with insight into both the transactions themselves and the issues affecting funds beyond individual deals. Alongside transaction work, the team also advises asset managers on day-to-day compliance and corporate matters, providing additional insight into the practical and commercial considerations affecting investment funds. A quick overview of the role: Advising fund sponsors on liquidity transactions and secondaries matters Working on continuation funds, recapitalisations, traditional LP portfolio sales, fund-level and GP-level preferred equity investments, and investments in firm sponsors Advising many of the world's leading private equity firms and asset managers Exposure to compliance and corporate matters affecting investment funds What's in it for you?
