Job Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for patients across the pediatric, adult, and geriatric domains using a blend of standardized evaluation tools and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that aim to meet both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions that focus on a range of aspects including speech clarity, language development, fluency, voice refinement, and swallowing techniques.
• Team up with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide educational guidance to patients and their families to ensure ongoing progress between therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with relevant guidelines while ensuring timely updates.
• Stay abreast of field innovations through continuous educational endeavors and peer collaboration.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
