Fabrication Support Technician

Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System industry, is seeking multiple Fabrication Support Technicians to assist our welding and fabrication team in the production of custom metal products. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal shop environment Familiarity with basic blueprint or drawing interpretation Previous material handling or stockroom experience REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Experience operating band saws, chop saws, or cold saws to cut metal stock to length Experience with angle grinders and bench grinders for deburring, grinding, and surface prep Ability to prepare weld joints through grinding, cleaning, and fitup in support of welders Previous experience with hand and power tools Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions High School graduate or equivalent Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift JOB LOCATION Madison, Alabama, United States POSITION TYPE Full-Time/Regular/Hourly COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Competitive Salary/Comprehensive Benefits Package US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Yes ABILITY TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE Yes #J-18808-Ljbffr
