ID: 77097398 Shift: 12H Nights Nights, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, MUST FLOAT Zone 1 Floating - Penrose Hos Description: Unit Process: Candidate Interview- Interview with MedSol Clinical Team- No Unit Manager involvement- Radius:60 MILES, DL must be submitted- Floating roles: Travelers are expected to float throughout the zone they are hired into. Each zone covers a 60 mile radius from the zone's city center which is where the 60 mile verbiage comes into play. Does the charge nurse take an assignment?Designated Charge on each unit; doesn't take a patient assignment unless necessary; more common for night shift charge to end up with a small pt assignment- Are there nurse aids on this unit/RatiosNone; For sitter needs only - RT in ICU 24/7\"Designated RT for ICU- but may not be on the unit 24/7; - RNs expected to be able to assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs. \"- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow; Breathing treatments - Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?No monitor tech; RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
