Assistant Controller

Our client is a global manufacturing company seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee the full cycle month-end close process and drive continuous improvement across the finance organization. This role carries broad technical ownership across Revenue, Inventory, and Expenditures while also leading FP&A support for corporate departments. The position manages a team of three senior accountants and one FP&A analyst, offering meaningful leadership responsibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities Own the full month-end close process, including Revenue, Inventory, and Expenditures for North America Lead corporate FP&A, partner with business leaders on contracts, leases, and rebates, and dig into variances Review balance sheet reconciliations, judgmental reserves, and support the external audit Spot inefficiencies and drive improvements — including process harmonization and shared services initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's in Accounting required; MBA or Master of Accounting preferred; CPA a plus 8+ years in accounting with hands‑on month‑end close and BS/P&L analytics experience SAP or large ERP experience preferred; strong Excel and data skills required Big 4 background a plus; strong communicator who can lead a team and influence across the org #J-18808-Ljbffr 6 Degrees Group
