Duties

• Set up and operate CNC Mills (Vertical and Horizontal) to produce precision parts. Lathe experience a plus.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments during the machining process.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve production efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
