About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the corporate financial model, driving FP&A, and strategic finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This role also involves handling controller-level accounting and reporting, overseeing the month-end close process, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and management reporting. The VP of Finance will be instrumental in automating management reporting, integrating data from various sources, and building a scalable, repeatable reporting infrastructure. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the outsourced RCM function, leading an audit, and supporting managed care contracting analysis and negotiations. Applicants must have a deep understanding of MSO structures and physician practice management, with experience in revenue cycle management and managed care contracting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A, be equally comfortable with the details of a month-end close and a board-ready financial presentation, and possess technical proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Athena, and Power BI. While a CPA is not required, the target profile is a career controller with strong analytical skills and healthcare domain expertise. The role demands a professional with early-stage or startup company experience, capable of thriving in a fast-moving environment and adept at building financial processes from the ground up.
