Desktop Support Specialist

Desktop Systems SpecialistThis position is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and internal systems software and hardware. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems, workstations, and servers within a diverse environment. The successful candidate will also manage passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment and communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to employees for network infrastructure, software, and hardware.Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and servers.Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment.Communicate technical information effectively to various audiences.Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.Participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects.Conduct training programs for computer users on basic and specialized applications.Required QualificationsAbility to image, configure, and deploy devices efficiently.Understanding of the device lifecycle, including build, deployment, and reclamation or disposal.Familiarity with provisioning, compliance checks, and endpoint management.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
