Regional Sales Manager

Salary: Highly Competitive Salary+ Bonus + Company Vehicle About the Manufacturing Company / The Opportunity Join a global leader in advanced manufacturing and metal flow engineering, supplying high-performance technical solutions to customers across the glass, steel, foundry, and related industries. This opportunity will lead commercial growth across the Americas for an agile fused silica business with strong international resources and significant expansion potential. As Regional Sales Manager, you will shape market strategy, develop strategic customer relationships, and build a high-performance commercial culture while driving profitable growth across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and South America. Responsibilities Set and execute the commercial strategy for the Americas region in alignment with broader business objectives. Identify and pursue opportunities for value, volume, and new-business growth across existing and prospective accounts. Lead customer contract negotiations, including bid development, pricing strategy, deal closure, and post-sale follow-up. Manage and develop a team of four front-office and back-office commercial professionals. Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across commercial, marketing, technology, operations, and supply chain functions. Lead account planning, market analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities for the territory. Partner with operations and internal teams through the S&OP process to ensure efficient product supply and exceptional customer service. Address cost, quality, delivery, and service issues while maintaining appropriate internal cost and inventory targets. Must-Have Skills 10+ years of sales or commercial experience in a complex, global, high-growth organization. Demonstrated success growing sales in both value and volume within technical B2B markets. Strong experience developing and executing account plans for large and small customers. Commercial expertise in customer relationship management, solution selling, contract negotiations, and pricing. Knowledge of metallurgy, steel, ceramics, refractory, foundry, fused silica, or related industrial markets. Proven ability to lead teams, develop employees, establish accountability, and drive performance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate business problems, and recommend solutions. Ability to travel extensively, including more than 50% travel throughout the Americas and occasional international travel. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in the galvanization or broader metal industry market. Experience selling technical solutions to glass, steel, foundry, or other industrial customers. Background working with S&OP, supply planning, manufacturing operations, or global distribution networks. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed international organization. Established relationships with commercial and technical stakeholders across the Americas industrial market.
