Perks of Working at Ignite Digital Competitive pay and benefits, including PTO Education stipends and referral bonuses Compelling work with the U.S. federal government Strong emphasis on volunteer and community engagement Opportunity to shape the future of our industry Supportive colleagues and management who invest in your growth Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and supporting documentation Enter subcontractor invoices and assist with subcontractor accounts payable tracking Assist with accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, and collections support Maintain customer and vendor records within the accounting system Support project cost tracking and validate labor, subcontractor, travel, and other direct costs Assist with contract and project setup activities within the accounting system Prepare invoice supporting documentation and maintain organized accounting records Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and project costs Support audit requests by gathering and organizing supporting documentation Maintain accounting files and documentation in accordance with company policies and record retention requirements Support process improvement initiatives within the Accounting Department Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and contract compliance Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required 1‑3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience preferred Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred (JAMIS Prime experience is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Location: San Diego, CA Schedule: Hybrid 2‑3 days week onsite in San Diego Salary: 72k+ to align with experience and education Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
