Sr. Billing Specialist (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking two experienced Senior Billing Specialists to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for billing professionals with law firm experience who thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and enjoy partnering directly with attorneys and business professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex legal billing, reporting, and client invoicing while delivering exceptional internal customer service. Location: Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX Schedule: Hybrid Schedule (3 Days Onsite) Job type: Perm Compensation: $32-$40/hour ($66,000-$83,000 annually) + Overtime Opportunities What You’ll Be Doing: Process and manage client invoices using billing software. Review, edit, and finalize pre-bills based on attorney and support staff requests. Handle a high volume of complex billing matters while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Research and resolve billing inquiries from attorneys and internal stakeholders. Review billing documentation and supporting materials to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare ad hoc reports and billing-related analyses for attorneys as needed. Assist with special projects and additional billing initiatives. Partner closely with attorneys and administrative teams throughout the billing cycle. Support month-end, year-end, and other critical billing deadlines, including occasional overtime and limited weekend work during Q4. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years of progressive legal billing experience within a law firm environment. Proven ability to manage and process high volumes of complex client invoices. Experience creating and analyzing ad hoc billing reports for attorneys and leadership. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Aderant billing software. Electronic billing (e-Billing) experience. Bachelor’s degree.
