Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and continuous evaluations of clients' mental health conditions and needs.

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of each client.
\n
• Developing and implementing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other members of the mental health team.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings to discuss ongoing cases, contributing insights and necessary interventions to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, while ensuring confidentiality and ethical considerations are upheld.

• Utilizing approved therapeutic methodologies and tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant frameworks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Your role will involve offering compassionate support, therapeutic interventions, and educational resources to help clients develop the coping skills necessary for a successful recovery. You will be guided by the overarching goal of fostering a safe environment where individuals can express their feelings and experiences without judgment, facilitating their journey towards improved mental health and wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current, active license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• At least two years of experience in a mental health or clinical setting, specifically with populations facing substance abuse and mental health issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster therapeutic alliances with clients and teamwork among colleagues.

• A strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking, enabling you to adapt therapeutic strategies based on client feedback and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or additional certifications related to substance use treatment will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling dynamics will be advantageous as well.

Compensation and Benefits\n
