The primary function of this role is to assist the general manager by handling various office-related tasks. Through multiple strategic locations, we deliver fast, specialized service throughout the South and Central U.S. Job Responsibilities: Answering calls on multiple phone lines, from customers, vendors, and other company locations, and route appropriately Obtain and process purchase orders from customers Enter service information in computer systems within 24 hours of receiving Monitor receivables and follow up with past due customers for payment Communicate with and support activity of various departments to ensure accuracy of paperwork, billing, inventory, receivables and payables Handle cash responsibly while preparing bank deposits and cash transactions Prepare and process billing/invoicing for customers within 24 hours of service/delivery Maintain files and records for customers, vendors and Boom Country Tire employees Provide general clerical support such as preparation of memos/letters and ordering office supplies Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Knowledge of general office practices and procedures Ability to type accurately and efficiently Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks at the same time Basic understanding of mathematical processes such as addition, multiplication, subtraction and division Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work efficiently as part of a team or independently Pre-Employment Screenings Drug screen, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report are required prior to employment.
