Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals - Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join a growing organization. As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as a key partner to management and employees, supporting day-to-day HR operations and implementing best practices that foster a positive and compliant work environment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Experience - 3+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Knowledge - Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices
Skills - Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities
Software - Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Commute - Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)

Job Description
As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as a key partner to management and employees, supporting day-to-day HR operations and implementing best practices that foster a positive and compliant work environment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting, screening, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits, payroll changes, and HR documentation
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns and maintaining records
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate reports as needed
- Coordinate training and professional development programs
Experience - 3+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
